Haha! That's pretty awesome! I bet it's still pretty fast, though! I wonder if a 540 would fit...

Oh course it would fit..if you make it. I think you would need to upgrade the tranny though.
I'd love to drive one of those with an XL-5 and a Team Orion sv2!
Niiice this is great news!

i read some where they only gona be about 100 less then the brushless version.
Hey, that's still great. Considering most 1/18th BL systems are well over 100$, and you get a brushed system, too.
If they are really $100 less then it would be about $190! That's something I can afford.

Bad news..well, the new brushed 1/16 models are on Tower (though not available yet) but as of right now they cost more than the brushless models. I would assume they go down at least $90.

EDIT: I guess it's just because it's not ready yet. The Slash brushed edition is for sale already, but it's a little more that I would have liked.

Now down to 209$ and 199$! =D
Ultimate Hobbies has them in stock and they are right at $100 less going for $189
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXXWF3**&P=ML Dayum, 170$!
Wow, it's come down a bit. I would still rather an the E-Revo. I hope that comes down.
It is even cheaper at Ultimate Hobbies (http://www.ultimatehobbies.com/istar.asp?a=6&id=TRA7005!1008), I am biased though because it is practically in my back yard and my son works there
Thanks Dad, for the link. I would buy it there!
