$150 for a used sc10

at my local hobby shop someone is selling a used associated sc10 for $150 it is the rtr andd it is in good shape. is that a fair price?

It being RTR makes that sound like a good deal. As long as it was maintained properly it should be good to go.

Excellent deal! Check all the gears and make sure everything is still smooth. Look at the shock shafts too. If you really wanna know if this guy took care of the truck, ask him what weight oil is in the shocks and when was the last time he changed the oil... that sounded so cool :lol: . Get a test drive too just to make sure the radio gear and everything still works properly.

Oh yeah, check for cracks!

well 150 for a RTR can be a good deal, but you can buy NEW ONE directly from EA for 175 shipped..if you look on this page the sc10 are 175.00 and that includes FREE shipping..but they are all out of stock now , before christmas they were all in stock..

thats a real good deal. I would consider that if the truck was in good shape, and wasnt tweaked out alot. But that being said, even a new truck isnt perfect.

For a truck that costs roughly 200-bucks NEW, that is a terrible deal.
Used RCs should cost about half of what they do new, and the more beat they are the less they're even worth.
Remember - you get what you pay for, and buying used is usually buying OPP (Other People's Problems).
