any suggestions on type of car engine electronics?
buy the ofna hyper 7 pro or a kyosho inferno 7.5
for engines use o.s. or picco. do NOT use a novarossi, they are sloooooow
for electronics, a futaba radio system will do fine :)

Kyosho buggies are THE most expensive buggies out right now...the standard kit is $450-ish, and the full option(hardly...I've heard that on most tracks, Torsen diffs suck, so you need to buy a set of standard diffs)Kanai edition is $750. Personally, I'd go for the Hyper 7 Pro if you want to save some money, or the Mugen MBX-4 XR(the buggy I'm buying as soon as I have the money). Don't get me wrong, the Kyosho is one of the best buggies on the market, it's just also one of the most expensive.
mugen, HAHAH. if your on a budget just buy a thunder tiger.the whole point of a 1/8 scale buggy is to go fast

What's wrong with the Mugen? The Mugen is PLENTY fast...it was a very close second to the Kyosho buggy in RC Nitro's shootout. The most popular cars here at Delta are the Kyosho and Mugen buggies, and both are very competitive.
they handle the same, but the mugen has a "funny " setup. especially the steering mechanism.also there is a slight speed difference with top end

Top end speed is dependant among many things, including engine, fuel, needle settings, gearing, etc. What's so *funny* about the setup? Especially the steering? The only majorly different thing is the front end overdrive, which allows the Mugen to have higher corner speeds...

You're wrong. They get more air than any other class of vehicles, and they take it in stride.

1/8 scales have got to be some of the best jumpers made! Their .21 engines, combined with their long travel, super durable suspension makes them perfect for jumping. Their 4wd system also makes it easy to control their attitude in mid-air.
