I went to get my Firebird XL out the other day and my steering wouldn't work. I took it apart and saw that the motor that controls the left and right was constantly spining. I tried to use the trim on the remote to get it to stop but to no avail. I set the trim all the way left then contiued to push the stick 3/4 the way then the motor stoped. When I went the aditional 1/4 it switched directions like it was supose too. Is there some way that I can get the controls "zeroed out" or "back to original" or am I just going to have to buy a new fuelseladge?sp?

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.
thank you

J

I would go ahead and replace the fuselage. The problem is probably in the circutry of the plane, so there is a very slim chance you would be able to repair it. At least you checked the controls before trying to fly it.

HobbyZone and Horizon Hobby are really super about supporting their products. If the plane is fairly new and not too beat up, either take it back to the hobby store or contact HobbyZone directly. The support number is in the manual.

Not likely you can fix that problem yourself.
