I finally got all the components to make my micro ready to go.
Here was my setup for my first run
Radio: Futuba Magnum Sport
ESC: Orion Flash
Motor: stock
Batts: 4 Duracell AAAs
Servo: Futuba S3003
The first drive consisted of testing it out on many surfaces with the low power AAAs. I was sliding it alll over the place on our tile floor. Speed is decent on carpet as well. The car is a little too big to be run on a pool table, as I found out. Concrete floors work pretty well, as do Asphalt and driveways. When i get some NiMH batt packs, this thing will fly!
I did'nt have hardly any juice left in the transmitter, as i stole the batts out of my Rustler transmitter. Need to buy a bunch.
Still need to paint the body.
Got Racing Red for the Viper.
Does an Indy Silver stripe look good with racing red?
