Dynamite Rocket Racer?

Finally, another legitimate competitor to the Mini-Z. I like the general idea with these things -- available with proprietary electronics, but you can put in your own if you want. That's like combining the best of both the RS4 Micro and Mini-Z worlds. It uses standard mini-micro servos instead of proprietary units like Mini-Z's and comes with a ball diff standard. The one thing I don't like is the body setup. Lexan is ok (though I prefer the well-detailed hardbodies of Mini-Z's), but the prepainted designs aren't very cool.

What do you think of these cars?

I think that they look prety good. The transmitter looks disgusting though. I like that it comes with a micro servo that is an indiviual piece so if you wanted you could use it in a diff. car. I wish that they would make a version prebuilt with no electronics though then you wouldnt have to pay for them if you are just going to not use them anyway. I wonder if micro rs4 motors would fit in it, hmmmmmm maybe sticking a elite modified motor in it, that thing would scream.

nice, i love the fact that it comes in both 2wd and 4wd, but yes, that transmitter does seem kinda "childish"

The transmitter is disgusting. Remember the 4WD Mini-X? Well, either it was renamed and sent to the press again, or somebody completely ripped off the car. Its now called the QJet Mini-Q. Check out R/C Car Action's august issue, page 38. Its being marketed by this company called GoldScallop.
