19turn motor 12t pinion 90t spur will it work for rock crawler?

i have a trinity quartz 19 turn motor and xl-1 esc i am using the stock 87 tooth spur and stock dust/gear cover will a 90 tooth spur fit in the stock dust/gear cover i am wanting to make a crawler and am wanting to use a 12 tooth pinion gear and a 90 tooth spur will it work?

well any thing will crawl but how good it does another question my 17 speedgem runs great with my one tooth smaller than stock pinion.

Posing another question doesn't really help him, but you make a good point. Gearing is different for all situations. But 12/90 on a 19t would be an amazing crawler, but no speed, even though I doubt your looking for speed in a crawler.

And yes a 90t gear will fit with the stock gear cover.
