I have been playing Tribes for about 4 years now. I took a few months off and when I comeback, Suprise! The Homelan Federation put me on the BFL list for reasons they won't tell me. Right now I'm trying to get off of the list but It's not looking too good :(
They keep saying "were not the only server you know" which anoys me. They practically are. They have the only truly popular server and the Shifter X mod.
Next time I'm on I'll put you on my list and find ya. :D

Finally someone who agrees with me. If you buy Tribes 2, be sure to install it directly into your recycling bin :rolleyes:
I got bored of this game after about 15 minutes.
Tribes 3 is coming out soon. Hopefully it will have the gameplay of Tribes 1, with the graphics of Tribes 2.

When tribes 3 comes out let me know. I need a new good game. The last one game that i bought was Red Alert 2. That game is like 3 years old. lol.

I played Tribes 1 religiously back in the day with a band of coworkers & friends. There just wasn't anything that could compare to the insane fun of a good Ultra Renegades mortarfest. Tribes 2 had such better graphics & improved vehicle usage, I couldn't go back, but I still missed the pure fun of the original. It just felt better.

The next big thing will be Sony's Planetside, the MMORPG version of Tribes, coming next year, after having been worked on for about 4 years.

Also, there was Tribes Arial Assult was on PS2. It was Tribes 2 with a new name.

Thats a mistake that the makers of Tribes made. Sales we badly hurt because they didn't use pin numbers during the installation, so when you got finished you could simply let your friend borrow the cd to install it. You didn't need to have the cd in to play it, just have it installed. This ment that only about a third of the people who played actually payed for the game.
They fixed that in Tribes 2, but I don't think Tribes 2 sold a well as they had hoped.
I'm glad they use pin numbers now, cause it makes me mad to find out that so many people didn't actually pay for the game :mad:

Does anyone here actually play Tribes 2. I bought it but didn't realise it was only internet play so I haven't got around to installing it. I probably would if I could play with some one from here.

Using software that you didn't buy hast mostly been illegal since computers became popular in the early '80's. If you don't realize this, then you're deliberately ignoring this. On the other hand, using cannibis is popular, also. Being popular doesn't make a thing smart or good.
