Outside a Los Angeles hobby shop, the following box was recovered and smuggled to a secure location. The Monster GT's were not on display but, after cajoling several anonymous hobby shop emplyees, both MGT's were placed on the display case. According to one of the aforementioned unnamed employees, they cannot be sold until Wednesday.

Looks as though the Monster GT has finally been successfully released, after months of setbacks.

Another made in China product......:eek:To me,any made in china products are very poorly made imo.I am no trying to discriminate anyone if they are that culture. But i'd liek to see some more monster gt pics:D
Bow: I guess most products are poorly made in your opinion then eh :D Most R/C's (not to mention toys, computer products, game consoles, and I could go on for days) are made in China, Singapore or Taiwan, including your Stampede.
Evader: The Monster GT was designed & produced by Thunder Tiger, but when Associated got the first prototype, they were not satisfied. A large percentage of the parts were redesigned & remolded.
What the...........That Monster GT looks like a card board box!?!?
Hey, don't make fun of it... it took about three years to develop that cardboard box! It's cutting edge!
Yeah, look, it even runs on two frequencies, according to the stickers next to "2 kits."

The box says "RTR," followed by "2 kits." Little bit of a contradiction, eh?
Hmmm.....I'm in Los Angeles. Wonder what hobby store it is?

chill out
Got my MGT 2 weeks ago here in the UK. 1 of 15 in the country I was told. I'm lucky enough to have a 2.5 Tmaxx and a Savage. I believe Associated should be very please. The truck can out handle the Savage and is not disimilar from the Maxx in how it behaves. It's very impressive for a truck of it's size. I haven't ran enough tanks through to check out the power but, things a looking exciting.
Glad to hear it, Dnell... welcome to the site! Be on the lookout for the opening of MonsterGT.com in the next week or so :)
