I hope now that the Monster GT is out the industry will start making more 1/8 truck bodies. I know Proline already has an H2 body http://www.prolineracing.com/proline/bodies/3165/3165.html kudos to them for that. But thats all we got right now (other than a Terra Crusher body).
Don't even get me started on Parma's 1/8 scale line up, those things should not even qualify as scale bodies. Their Chevy crew cab look like a box with a truck box.
Anyways, just my little rant, can't wait to see the aftermarket for this truck!

dont expect much from proline for a couple to a few months at least. I called them on friday to ask them just that and they told me that there is "Nothing" in the works at this time.. (I have A Titan Twin on order) Parma looks horrible and I do not care for the terra crusher, but have thought about the body used on the Dirt Demon. It is a huge truck and a decent looking body. just wait and see i guess.

Ah, but unfortunately, the Dirt Demon uses 'Maxx-sized bodies! The bodies look tiny on the big truck.
how about txt or clod bodies

You will be able to use any body you want on the BFT, but it will fit kinda funny.
1st, the length needs to be 1" longer than and ext T-Maxx body in order for the wheel wells to line up at all.
2nd, the width needs to be almost 1" wider as even the wide hummer and escalade bodies are not wide. They actually sit inside of the side trays that are attatched to the chassis.
The Terra Crusher body should fit, but the BFT is still bigger. Not sure about Ofna bodies, they are wider, so they may work ok. Biggest problem is durability. Proline is the only one making .060 thick bodies, which are the most durable right now. Most of the others are way too thin and crack easily. Hopefully they make some oversize bodies soon cause I don't know if I can stand that H2 concept or not. And there is no way I'm trashing either of these 2 flag bodies.

Yeah I tried my Hummer H1 Militia onit just to see what it looks like, Moddmaster is right, it won't even clear the trays without bending the sides out. The new Tamiya TNX body should fit nicely as well.

All I can say is the t-maxx body I am using right now will not last long. the roll bar is going to punch through. other than that I will run the pro-line H2 body untill I get the stock clear MGT body.
Is it just me, or are companies going to miss the boat?
1. I'm assuming that the Monster GT will sell quite a few copies.
2. NOBODY makes bodies for it.
3. Whoever does decide to jump in and be the first with a few nice bodies will make a small mint.
4. I personally am not a big fan of the "monster truck" look. I'd kill for a Jeep Scrambler / CJ-7 / Wrangler body that was HUGE. I don't mean tiny-body-massive-tires, I mean something that will be SCALE. Just imagine bodies that would actually look like Jeeps/Broncos/Land Rovers on 35" tires.
5. Rock crawling RC will continue to grow, these bodies will fill that niche. Just look at the HPI Savage with the Bronco body, that is just beautiful, but I still wish that body was about 20% bigger (for the Savage).
Since this is my first post, I'll keep it brief. : )
