Anybody here fly micro helis?
Hi and welcome to the Hanger forum.
I haven't got into micro’s yet, I know a little about them, most of my flying is with a 50 size Raptor and a 40 size trainer plain, do you have one or are you looking for Info or did you just want to talk micro‘s, let me know, I’m interested in them. :)

I really want one!;) , but they are so expensive!:( . I was thinking for that red one, with the corded radio, for like $300. OR might get into nitro Flying!
If you have a flying field close by and there are Heli pilots flying out of there, I would think Nitro would be the way to go, the bigger birds are easier to fly and there is so much in the setup and training part of Heli’s that you would crash more then fly without any help.
When I first decided to get into Heli’s, I went down to the local flying field and ask allot of questions and found that people there are willing to help. I was vary lucky that the field I fly out of has some great pilots and the Raptor factory pilots also fly out of my field, so I had so much help with my Heli and radio setup that out of 8 gal. of fuel (so far) through my Raptor 50 V2, I have not crash (yet) but I‘m still in the hovering stages. It takes allot of practice and patients.
If you are serous about Heli’s, the best way to start is to get a simulator and practice, practice, practice, believe it or not the Sim. is harder to fly then the real thing so if you master the Sim. then you have it made.

ive seen a few helis, flown one, god they are hard, ive decided to stay on the ground with rc's now, atleast ones with 4 wheels and are offroad, well i guess i am in the air at times, maximum of about 10-15feet, and yet i still break parts, wonder why, lol, good luck with the heli, they arefun once you learn but if you fly like my uncle, you get about 20 seconds of fun flying in and watch 2000 bucks spiral into a tree, garage, car, clothes lines, and shatter, he also is sticking with the ground vehicles, but ive seen some of the good flyers out here sitting on the ground and revving it up all the way and having it maxed out, then just lifting it as hard and fast as possible and doin like 2 front flips and goin way way out there, awesome to watch but i cant imagine what that would be like to have a rotor blade snap just then, ehh
