looking for feedback on this engine.
ease of tuning
power
durability
top speed
low end
vs. picco .26
XTM has been using the engine to great effect. The Mammoth is due for a full test in the next Radio Control Car Action The Mammont is ment to have a top speed of around 50mph so I don't imagine it's down on power or punch given the current trend in big MT's.

I have a 24.7 pro in my MGT and also in my Savage I also have the standard version of it in My Mammoth. All I can say is all Three have been very easy to start and have great power from monster low range to a screamin top end. Both the MGT and Savage pull full on from a dead stop wheelies and they both have about five tanks thru them. I'm waiting for parts on the MGT as I lost two pins on the cva's at the same time. I'm planing to install bigger clutch bells in both as they seem way under geared now. It's been pretty cold here in the forty to fifty range and all three engine engines are running about 180 range with plenty of smoke and power. The Mammoth hasn't pulled the front tires more than a inch off the ground but it's very fast and it looks more touring car at high speeds,RCCA said fifty two mph and I can see it has to be true plus it takes off hard. I would recommend these engines to anyone.
