MGT Vid (http://www.rckingdom.co.uk/main/movies/mgtaddlebmx040104.wmv)
Just to make it a link now.
This has to be one of the toughest trucks straight out of the box, I have severley tested mine and this is the first time I have damaged it.
Unfortunately, the last jump I did wasn't on the video, but it did actually make a good landing, it just hit the hard ground so hard, the engine mounts snapped!
The only other damage is to the front and rear bumper mounts, rear body mounts, cooling head (I already have the upgrade head though) and the H2 Hummer shell is split right across the back.

I have a set of new engine mounts on the way to me and I'll be off to do it again. ;)
I also have the Vertigo Performance carbon brake pad to put on too, and some AE uprated springs for the MGT.:p
See now that is how you test a truck out...... I took mine for a flight, a good 15 feet in the air it landed but it broke an A-arm. I have 6.90lbs springs on now and aftermarket shocks. think will take some air now
Youch. Looks like you could use one of these:

Strangely, the roll bar is undamaged :d , don't quite know how it got away with it, but I'm happy it did.
New engine mounts are on the way, and that is all it takes to get the MGT back up and running.
In the mean time, I think I have some cleaning to do.
There is another video from the same day and my MGT is in that too, I tried to clear a triple jump with it, and erm didn't make it :rollin: Plenty more carnage action in it, and some other trucks and buggies too.
It's a 10.8 meg vid, but it will play as a streaming video if you click it, or you can save it.
Another vid (http://www.rckingdom.co.uk/main/movies/addlestonebash040104.wmv)
Enjoy. ;)
Well the end first.I must give credit to the maxx,it was jumping real good and taking a beating. My question is what was that running with the cookie cutting wheels. That thing was powerful and fast:spam: And now to the beginning,The GT did not surprise me it just kept on ticking and taking a licking:D I love this truck. And you know you have to have a follow up vid:toocool:
There was no Maxx jumping in that vid, at the end, it was a Savage 25 jumping, it is the one with the red and black shell.
The other truck you mention, if it is the truck without the body shell, it is a JT Havoc Hybrid Maxx powered with an RB WS7II, and yes it is extremely fast.
The first truck on the vid was a Tamiya Terra Crusher.
As for a follow up vid, let me fix the MGT up first, then I can break it again. :rollin:
If you want to see another vid taken that day, Click here (http://www.rckingdom.co.uk/main/movies/tmaxxaddlebmx040104.wmv)
This one features a 2.5 T-Maxx attempting back-flips and making it a few times.:toocool:
Well I stand corrected.Nice savage:) I may have to add one to my collection.I have a crusher also do you have stock driveshafts.I,m looking for something stronger than stock.I put the stock crusher tires on my MGT they fit perfect. What do you think with that ws7 on a MGT:eek: No time soon, the engine I have stock seems to be doing fine. But when it breaks. What shock set up did you have on the savage:D That vid has me thinking;)
Only the MGT is mine, I do have quite a few R/C's in my collection, but not up to the standard of the JT Havoc.
I do know that the TC is completely stock, as it is fairly new, and it is his first R/C truck.
I work as the editor for the Maxbashing R/C magazine, the guy with the TC was given it for free to write a review on a newbies point of view on it. I now have his review ready for editing and it will go in February's issue.
As far as a WS7II in an MGT, I'd love to see one, but it would need the pullstart conversion, as it's a non-pullstart engine.
I don't know who the Savage belongs to, but they are great jumpers with the extra long shocks they come with. I'll see what I can find out though. I can say that the Savage 25 is a better option than the normal .21 version.
I have just ordered a set of Proline 40 series wheels and tyres for my MGT, as Martins has them and it improves the handling greatly, mine will rollover much easier than Martins will, I tried hard to get his to turn over, but it wouldn't! :d
Then I may look into getting a bigger engine in mine too, as I'm determined to clear that treble.
So that was the new crusher. Or the old one.

Awsome vids so far I hate to say it but there is no better jumping MT than the Savage I have 2 plus the MGT you can sure see the speed and power differences between the .25 Sav and the older .21 Savage. Also the Savage is one TOUGH truck Great work keep the Vids coming!!!!!

All I know is, it was brand new about a month ago.
SavageCanuck, I'd sort of agree with you there, but I haven't had the pleasure of jumping a 25 Savage yet, but I have jumped a .21 Savage and the MGT over the same double jump at my track, abd the MGT was better in every way.
It accelerated better, rode over the ground better, flew better, landed better, and got further than the Savage.
Both were stock, the main contributory fact was that the MGT didn't bobble about on the rough ground, so was easier to line up to the jump.
I will be racing the MGT next season, so we'll see how it does on the track competitively.
There is no new Crusher. The TNX that is replacing the TC isn't available yet, hopefully will be by the end of the month.
As for driveshafts... the Picco 26 was popping the stockers like candy in my TC, so I got some GPM steel universals from here:
