Dewdog has those rims and were not sure, but we think they might be linked to the steering knuckles he keeps breaking. Excess stress on them with the offset hanging them out further during a tumble. How many runs do u have with them, and what kinda driving u do with them?

By the way, they do look sweet! I might get a set myself if no one else is breaking knuckles with them.

i mostly bash and havent had any broken knuckles yet, but im sure they do put more stress on that area due to width. there a little heavy also. i bash but not as hard as i once did. ive got a little soft in my old days lol. i did bend a few turnbuckles, but switched em out wit some titanium(lunsford). if you do get the rims youll be pleased with them, but you made a good point with the stress due to width.

Not sure if its correct or not, its just the only thing that stands out different than mine. I crash just as hard and dont break those stearing knuckles. Hes broke about 7 or 8 of them. So were just speculating on possibilities.

How long have you had them on?

ive ran bout a half gallon but im not to hard on it as far as all out bashing. me and buds go to the local bmx and so far ive been pretty lucky on landings. id say your correct with the width of the wheels being more stressful. maximizer makes them with stock offset also. i just like the fact that theres no glue and tires changes are less hassle.

:d Hey man,I broke three knucks two with the stock tires & one with the pro line 40's min pins & yellow rims, i just came off a jump wrong & landed on front left wheel not going fast & about two feet high! I ordered alum. ones today .

Nice rims there P26 I have a set on order I like the idea of no glue and easy tire changes they are also supposed to be a strong rim.Hows the Savage tires working for you they must be ballooning out with the picco and that tall gearing

Watch out for those aluminum knuckles, they bend and depending on the brand you go with, the stock pillow ball retainers are a different size. For the cost of 4 aluminum knuckles, you can buy approx. 24 stock ones. Id say the RPM units would be good, but they arent cheap either.

The RPM's aren't cheap because they include high grade 6X15X5mm bearings which have over twice the load rating of stock.

0] well from GPM they were all four just 52. bucks. shipping and all . & thats with the pillow-ball keepers made from delerin. that comes out to around $12.50 each.i hope they wont bend easy though.RPM is the best to go with though. but oh well.

thanks, yeah i love the no glue thing. the rims are tough as woodpecker lips there a little heavy but i dont worry about wieght as much as durability. i really like the stock savy tires. i thought the gearing may be a little to much at first but with the smaller tire size it rocks. wheelies are controllable and top end is nice with no bog on the get go.

if you're willing to spend the extra loot hardcore sells titanium knuckles for this truck.
