Has anyone here tried one? I was looking at some on Ebay and some other sites. I am looking for a cheap mini Heli and this one seems to fit the bill.

Here is another option you may want to look into. :) EVOflight (http://www.ultimaterc.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=30809)

Looks nice, But:
It's not RTF. I don't want to drop $400-$500 on a micro for now. I want one I can feel ok letting a little one at the controls.

But thats a definate upgrade for later.

OK, so I got the aerohawk. Flew it a bit, works greate once trimmed out. Pretty stable.

Anyway, my question is, there shouldn't be alot of play in the main rotor shaft right? The spur gear can move up and down the entire length of my pinion gear on this helicopter. Should it do that?

off the shelf yes this is normal but to get better cyclic response and insurance for gear strippage get the Aluminum CNC Shaft collar http://www.helihobby.com/html/piccolo_upgrades.html
1/3 down the page itll fix yer problems

Actually, After I smashed the rotor head when the helicopter went into a death wobble, I picked up a shaft collar, swash ball, head stiffener, motor, and new blades from like90.com . Much smoother heli now.

I'm going to have to try that, my aerohawk flew fine for a week, but now it constantly goes into the death wobble.

Fixed it, advancing the baldes before tightening screws really helps.

I got one of those a while ago, and have never gotten it to fly. Could someone maybe offer a little advice? I am not sure if it is trimmed right, cause when ever it gets off the ground it starts to drift really bad. And I am not sure how to get it trimmed...

Any help would be great!
