just curious to know how the heli pilots here are doing. any new first attempts at something or crashes.
i have been flying for 3 months or 3 gallons so far. my flying has surpassed the other guys i fly with due my countless hours on the sim before i got the heli.
i did opt to get the century hawk. the price couldn't be beat and i've only heard good things from those that own one. i must say, i don't understand why non century heli flyers speak bad of it simply b/c it is a very low costing kit. mine flies just as well as all the other raptor and hirobo .30's that i fly with. it's all in the set up they say and it's very true.
i did have 4 crashes from not checking my heli like i should but all damages have cost me very little. my last crash was a nose dive at WOT. the damage for that one was extensive so i ended up buying a new hawk foir $160.
enough of my rambling...so how's everyone doing?

Hi and Welcome to the Air side of the house.:)

I've been doing Heli's for about two years now, but I’m just still hovering around and getting all the different directions down because I would like to get into AFI competition which is precision hovering. I have two Raptor 50 V2’s and a Shogun electric and few airplanes to mess around with. :)

I have a Kyosho Concept 30, which is about 10+ years old, got it from my uncle. Pretty much every time I have flown it, it has crashed. Probably spent at least $150 on just replacement parts after 5 crashes or so. Doesn't hover any more... the engine always quits at about 2/3 throttle, no matter what needle settings are use.
