Well, I was thinking of getting one of these. So how good are they? And about how fast do they go? Also I was thinking that if it wasn't fast enough for me that I could put in a diff motor. Is it easy to replace the motor and does the water cooling system come off the stock motor so i could put it on the mod motor? Ya I would probably have to get a better esc but I could probably do that. And what is a good low turn water proof esc? Thanks.

My 2 little cousins got them, a blue one and a white one. Actually, they are decently fast, and at top speed on flat water will turn on a dime and not flip, but the cool thing is, if they do flip, they self right themselves. Awesome little boat for the price there is only one bad thing, they are water-cooled, but the pick-up tude is too short, but all you need is a little brass tubing and a little brass fuel line nipple and its good, or just normal fuel tubing. But they are truely great boats, Im aiming for one here sometime just because they seemed fitting for my liking and can still be modded (AstroFlight BL airplane motor and esc)

Yea but they play slo-mo most of the time, those little things will do 20 and maybe a little over Im sure. For that price and you get everything you need, you cant really go wrong, and since they use normal hobby level motors, esc, radio gear, and such, modifications are endless just like the higher priced ones.

When you say "they play slo-mo most of the time" who do you mean by that? Your cousins? Or who? I would really like to get one, they are on sale on tower for $75, but i'm getting a better digicam. So I guess i'll just have to wait to get one. Couldn't use it right now anyways, too cold.

The vids they play in Tower are almost always slow motion, I guess in a last ditch effort to make them look cool. They are much faster then they appear then in those videos.
