Just got hold of a friend's Giga Crusher for a day and I was not so impressed with it, a lot heavier than the mad force (I got MF RCX and the Standard), also I did not see that it handles any better for the twin Engines, if any the mad force had the fun of wheelie :D
Does any one have any reason to change to a giga crusher please let me know as I still want to get one and I am waiting for an excuse to my self. need to get something for my X-mas Gift (to my self). marry X-mas all :p
I am currently in the process of building my giga crusher. So far it is typical Kyosho, great quality and parts fit great.
Why are you not impressed ? As for wheelies, once broken in , this truck should (it better) wheelie.
Though there have not been many reviews or any that I can find, I am still excited to finish it and have it ready for the weekend.
Can you elaborate on why you are not impressed ?
how would having twin engines make it handle any better?? I dont understand what your logic is.
and I think just about everyone here knew that the truck was going to weigh more, you can tell from the pics.
this truck is obviously made to be a power house, I dont think anyone is rushing out and buying the truck to race it. well maybe the single engine version would do ok on the track.
I dont think your taking this truck for what it really is.
Well I finished the build on the Giga Crusher. It is awsome. It is a very well designed kit. My only complaints so far is the sloppy throttle linkages.
I will not be able to run it until Sunday. I can't wait ! Not looking foward to the break in stage, but I hope to break it in Sunday so I can see what this truck can do.
I will keep you guys posted.
Hi ,make sure pay attention to the air filter (the air scoop )i will suggest
better use the original air filter from MF and fix it direct to the cab ,this will
prevent the air filter from being pop off during racing.(overturn)pls pay attention also to the rear straight pipe ,need more fastening. ;)
well got a giga today all i can say is wow the truck is built for abuse the tranny (qrc unit ) is close to the weight of a complete t maxx i can not belive how ever gear is metal and im not talking about the cast alluminum garbage the rest of the truck is built just as heavy and the motors look really nice the heads are bigger than the madforces head and the tranny actully has bearings in it (3speed) i cant weight to run it but first it needs to be build it ill post back after breakin
Damn it i might have to get just to see how fast this baby is compare to my twin USA1
They are going for $499 on ebay if no one else bids or buy it now for $529.00. No radio but comes with everything else. I wonder if you can buy it without the motors so i can drop in the Werks .30, i doubt it would fit not much room for 30 size heads bumping into each other. Let see now 3.5 hp each.
well yes its quik and no you cant buy it without the motors but it will almost deffinatly fit 30 there is plenty of room between the heads . you also have to reallize that the heads are oversized and almost 1.5 times bigger than the head for gs21r once the motors are spent im repacing them with duel fourstroke 40 also the truck was built to handle the abuse of the duael engines. actully dont you have probs running 2 motors with the drive shafts on the usa1. i was braking them with just 1 os 21 rgx and it always seemed to be the front shaft also

what bout .46's the cen ones does anyone think they would fit with custom mounts that would be sweet 10hp and a three speed danggggggg
but would you really need all the power, it would destroy the drivetrain and it would be inpracticat. but if you have yons of money to spend then im sure you can fit them in there.

I built and own a giga crusher df it has plenty of power wouldnt mind a little more tho it does do back flips when both clutches engage correct and on
20% modle fuel i have problems with throttle linkages to but atm im
smashing the fuel tanks want to know if new ones have been designed
to go under the rear pipes also if you replace the air cleaner with seperate
cleners its alot more responsive down low and also with the rear rubber mufflers
