Brian Poppe aka giantcrawler is a thief

Beware of Brian Poppe from Redding CA/ST Joes MO....he is a thief and has ripped off more than 4 people in the last month including me.(and my beloved .21 t-maxx)
He goes by many aliases:
clodman, revonut, pimpinpoppe2000, pimpinpoppe, nitronavi, nitroman, giantcrawler, and I'm sure many more.
Some of his e-mail addresses are:

If you have been ripped off by him, please contact me for further info on an FBI complaint filed against him by myself and many others that have been scammed. I have much more info available on him if anyone is interested.

I'm in the middle of a trade with Brian. He offered to ship his item first. He has been very cool about the whole deal. he has kept in contact with me the whole time. I should be getting the truck he sent me in about 3 days. I'll let you all know how it go's. So far he has been a GREAT GUY about the whole deal. Thanks Jamie

Unfortunately I was paid back with something that I didn't trade for and didn't want......and yet he said I was paid back.....hmmm.

How bout someone send me an R/C car, and I'll send them a big bag of crap....you'll be paid back, just not with what you wanted.
Oh...and there are others from other forums who have still not been payed back....I can send you their e-mails if you'd like.

That guy ripped me off on my losi xxx-nt, then when i got the police involved he sent my truck back in a reck, he ripped me off many other people dont trust him.

he told me the pinion gear was stripped on the truck i sent him which is not true. i still have not received the t4 he was supposed to trade me. he may be scamming me too. on rc universe his ratings were great. how did you get the police involved? i hope i don't have to get them involved but i will do whatever i have to do.

ya he fooled mee too on rc universe then i found out on rcuniverse he has many bad accounts and only uses the good. Did u atleast get tracking for ur item? I went to the FBI website over on internet fruad. U make a report and send it to them. luckly hwe got scared and sent my truck back but it was runiend so my report still up along with others. Infact after i got ripped of i heard he ripped of 4 other people that month and they told me about the FBI website

i found out that by "stripped" he meant the set screw was missing, not that all of the teeth were gone. my bad. he also said that if the t4 doesn't arrive in several days he will return my truck.

hey clodboy, if you found a thread about how the person you are trading with is a thief wouldnt you be a little worried that your getting scammed? i have lived up to my end of the deal and shipped the truck and you recieved the truck i sent. i hope to recieve a truck from you in several days so that i can get on here and tell everyone you held up your end of the deal and i will apolagize.
