I haven’t seen to much talk about it, we do have a guy down at our field that puts a digital video camera on his Fury Heli. and takes some nice video’s. :)
I just tryed it out for the first time saturday

Arial photography as in big airplanes or as in strap one to ur r/c? I kno cox (yea yea little cox begginers) makes a free flight plane thats got a disposable camera in it. Im sure u could jerry rig it. or even custom make a plane thats got a camera in it.

RCAPA “SHOOTOUT” Photo contest

The purpose of the SHOOTOUT is to build membership and a war chest for the upcoming ASTM meeting in May. The contest is open to members of RCAPA world wide. Membership is free entrance to the contest is $10.00 U.S. The basic photography rules are your picture can be of any subject (with safety in mind refer to AC 91-57) taken in 2005. It will be a people’s choice (voting) as to who the winners are, first second and third.

Estes has an all foam twin engine electric ducted-fan plane out with a tiny digital camera mounted on top like a spy plane... If I did this right, you should be able to click on this picture to go to a link where you can read more or purchase... Tower Hobbies carries it too...
It's controled by engine thrust (asymetrical thrust) only and isn't the easiest thing in the world to fly (needs calm wind) but the darn thing works and does take good pictures...
The thumbnail (second picture) is a picture I just took on the first flight of mine... BTW, I flew it in about a 15 knot wind and that was NOT a good idea... but it should be easier to handle on a calm day... There is a button on the controler which will snap up to 26 pics and it comes with the cable to upload your pictures to your PC... Dave
