Now there is associated rc18t. What is better?

Speed and runtme will be somewhat similar if you were running say a GP1100 pack in them. The AE comes with an 1100mah pack versus the MQ's crummy, stock 600mah pack. So, the AE will have longer runtimes if you are going stock battery vs stock battery. Since the MQ has a 380 sized motor compared to the Associateds 280, the 18T might not use up the packs juice as fast but that can also be untrue. Since the motor is smaller you will need to use more throttle then you may have used with the Mini quake.
If you are racing the RC18T will be ideal, but the Mini Quake is meant to bash, so if you wont be racing I'd go with the MQ. It has a lot more ground clearence then the ae which will be very useful.
It all comes down to what you want to do with the truck :)
NitroBoy is right.
And if you want to see what the AE RC18T is like in action, there is a video in the Wild Hobbies forum. Here's a direct link to the video.

You'll notice that it is quick (slower than a MiniQuake, but still faster than a Mini-T. probably about 15mph). You can clearly see that it isn't meant as a basher truck. It bounces around and barely clears the dirt area they were driving on. The MiniQuake would have no problems driving around that area. However, if you put that RC18T on a track, you'll have alot of fun with smooth handling and good traction. Definetely a truck that is meant for the track.

Yeah, the video on www.teamassociated.com of the RC18T makes the 18T look like a very fast truck for the track...
I'm gonna have to buy an RC18T to go along with my Quake...the best of both worlds!
