Hopup/option parts. What do you want?

Ok, to help Duratrax cater to their customers and to help us get the parts we need, I am setting up this thread for you guys to tell me what you would like to see getting made as a hopup/option part for the MiniQuake. I'll be relaying the most common and needed parts requested (and be realistic in your requests) to Duratrax directly.

Here's what I've told them so far:

- aluminum lower arms
- aluminum adjustable upper arms
- aluminum knuckles (which I think are already in the works)
- graphite/aluminum bumpers
- new wheel designs


So lets hear em, what do you guys want to see in terms of hopup/option parts?

Some Carbon Fibre bits to make it look trick and reduce weight
Ali Knuckles
New wheels
Pinion that fits the Mamba system

Just an update, if u dont know, duratrax has a counterpart (mrx-4) which is the exact same truck without duratrax' name on it.. Anyway, check out this website for aluminum upgrades.. Hope it helps, I know everyone wants them, so here it is..

I'd like the see the Graphite parts come out. Like to see graphite upper arms. I'm not a big fan of aluminum anymore since my all alloy Mini-t. Nothing worked right on it ever again and bent arms yadayadayada...

id like to see other colors besides blue, why is blue the most common aluminum color? how about some reds, silvers, or purples for this thing? personally i want red alum and deck it out just for fun

I think its kind of like how HPI uses purple and Losi uses red. Its the color for that company. Aftermarket is where you usually see other colors.

Although I agree I'd like to see other colors as well.

purple wouldlnt be bad, im doin purple for my duratrax evader, my stampede and emaxx are blue, my mini t was red but its sold now, and i loved that look, so i would like red if possible

No problem.

MQ is being worked on. Trying to get a chance to test the Duratrax CVDs, but I'm held up because I have to drill my motor plate to work with the one18th Beast Trex motor.

1) Metal diff gears. Heck all gears metal or alu.
2) Higher shock towers to allow lower ride height (carpet racing). Or shorter spring set.
3) Buggy body.
4) Alu hubs.
5) Bel crank servo saver like 1/8th buggies

I would love to see an Aluminum Chassis plate, and Shock Towers with better mounting options. Also, I dont know if they are out yet or not, Aluminum Skidplates

defenitly metal spur gear,i think everyone is waiting for that to come out.i lalso like the idea of graphite arms and a lightweight graphite chassis.maybe some wheel adapter extentions,or longer arms and cvd's to have a wider stance for better handling(just like traxxas did for the second gen. t/e maxx).someone please come out with these hop ups please.....lol
