Hi, I have my GIGA :toocool: I warked all we and now is redy, but I want hask some helm on the setting for the throttle servo.
When I pull the throttle everithing is OK, but when I leave it de gas don't come on the minimal position. If I push the throttle go to the right positions. I don't have turned on the engine YET.
somebody has a solution regarding?
did you remove the o rings thatw ere on the carbs if so that the prob they are a sort of throtle return spring also youll need to mes with the linkage on the servo horn also you need to flip one of the lincages over otherwise they will bind somtimes kyosho instructions are wrong i never built mine the way the instructions said for the linkages but ivee also had duel motor car before so i knew what to expect
aren't the "rubber bands" meant to stay on as throttle return springs?
yes they are that is why kyosho included them .but i think that the newbies dont realize that kyosho uses them instead of spring so hows the giga doing mark are you having fun with it yet i still have not had any break age
I love it, but have struggled with proper gear mesh. I've stripped 1st gear twice now and have just received replacements from tower along with the additional spiders. I think I'll rip completely apart and rebuild diffs and hope to get the gears properly aligned this time - any tips?
Did you use any diif oil\lube when you added your additional spider gears?
diffs
i ran 30000 weight silicon and replaced the screws along with the spider as for the gears do one side and dont use paper unless you cut it into small strips .the easiest way is just make sure there is a tinny tick in all the gears if it dont tick youll burn em up and if they are too loose they will strip out teeth if you have any more ? e mail me

Thak u everibody, I ll try with your suggestions and I ll tell u. what s append. I think that can be the solutions.
I have the same problem by not realize that the rubber band was acting as return spring. But even with the rubber bands, it still doesn't feel right due to the weak linkage. It still not perfectly return to idle position after full throttle unless I pull the brake.
So madfish, do you mind to post some of the linkage setting pic of your Gigan to help us?
Thanks in advance
no prob check out my pics. i tried to get a good shot but its not the best also note how the throtle linkage is . i changed it due to the fact that i had a couple probs the way they say to do it http://www.rcpics.net/member/gigacrush70
also the little bushing inside the chassie that support the linkage are garbage . after a couple runs they get loose and cause probs so replace them with what ever you can i used copper bushings and have had no problem sience. as for the linkage check the pics . most of the pics are on the second page for the giga in my album. i hope that helps
Thanks madfish! So is it neccessary to change the linkage underneath the main chasis plate where it connected to the servo? (I concern about the weak linkage under the main plate) Also do you know any wheelie bar available to fit the Gigan?
no i dont im not getting wheelies like i thought.in certain cond it will pullt he front up but not much. i would buy the newerra wheelie bar for the t maxx and bolt that baby right up to the skid. i never changed the linkage it self but i did replace the little plastic bushings that the shaft rides on for the throttle to copper ones and that tightend up a bunch of the linkage also flip one of your linkages going to the carbs. the farthest out linkage well be the best to flip. onnce you flip the linkage connector it will not bind anymore. and i think that is your problem
