any mp 7.5 brake disks work as for the recoil its not cheap i belive it like over 40 dollars for the same costs you could put a roto start and backplate from the gs21r on it and do away with the recoil or if intrested i have a couple exrta recoils i can sell you one for 15.00 plus shipping as for hopups not mmuch yet you could replace the pipes you could replace the shocks with alluminum ones that dont leak there are also hubs for the mp7.5 3 that you can get in dilit alluminum machine for about 50 a pair
the diffs you could add the extra gears if you havnt or go with tcd diffs even thought people who have never had them says there junk or a fail safe if you dont have one yet

if you are handy with tools and metal you can make your own pipe. here is a site http://www.maxxtraxxusa.com/Tuned_Pipes_3608.cfm. i made one from a parking sign and aluminum tape. http://members1.clubphoto.com/a910005/2992607/owner-f479.phtml the bottom pics. it didnt turn out that good except for the sound but its a start. i never got a chance to tune the engine and its also cold. but you should try since the giga crusher is the perfect truck for stinger pipes.

have you actually tried the GS21R roto-start? Is there enough room to get the shaft in when motors are in the truck? pics?

well i runa roto on my madforce and on the giga there is but youll have to have the shaft go in sideways a little and the hub the shaft goes in needs to come out on each side

The roto start is going to be a pain, not to mention more stuff to carry, more batteries to keep charged, and more parts to buy when it wears out. Tower has discontinued the pullstart for the gx21 for the mad force and doesn't even list a ps in the giga replacement and optional parts section. Since they take the same part you will have to find an alternative. Below is a link to what one member had success with after trying many different types of ps. Even though DraftMaster20 has listed the part as ending with a 2, Tower lists it as ending with a 3, same part though. Kevinmcdade had good luck with the OS #5 assembly, but at twice the price I think I would try the Duratrax one first. You have to also consider replacement one ways some day, the duratrax is $10 the OS alone is $24. This is the one he is referring to.http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXSS31&P=V

yes.. dont forget about the other one thats by the one thing and its doing this. is simple. ones all u need

youll need parts # 6520-38 thats the back plate to convert to the ofna type type recoilset so then you get the roto start for the savgae 25 or for the ofna 25 there bolth the exact same just different placement were the shaft goes i have mine on my madforce going out the bottom of the frame so i can start it with the body on and the same exact set up works for the gigas stock 26 gs series motors the gs 21 and the gs26 have the same exact engine block only bigger holes were the p@s are and the crank hole. i run the svagge one because it come out in a better location. its really easy to do no mods needed just bolt it up and it should work on the gx version to but ive never tried and the others i have
tron do a searck in tower for gs21r and they have ever part for the motors its all the same and yes i agree it is more to carry and batts to charge but hey it easy to start and actully if your motor tuned right itll start first pull so i guess its all personall choice but the part # for the pullstart is lxw862 under tower and it is in stock 49.99

If they're all the same why would anyone in their right mind spend $50 on the junk (as some refer to all Kyosho products) Kyosho ps when I clearly pointed out above that the Duratrax is a better starter and is only $18, You simply make no sense at all, money doesn't grow on tree's you know. And what the heck is svagge I don't know what language your speaking but the rest of us speak english here, is it that hard to do?

man you dont even own a gigacrusher so why dont you find somonelse to bash . ever posti have posted you have had somthing negative to say. so at this point im reporting you to the jang .you dont own the internet nor are you a modderator. and ovously you have never owned a duratrax product they stink but again im posting my oppinion so just say what you want no one is paying any attention anyways i have better things to do then argue with you about stupid little things and hopfully the jang will solve this prob. as for my typing sorry about it i dont spend my hole life on the coputer like you do. also to add you really have no idea what you are talking about becuse the 50 dollar one includes everthing needed to replace starter unit including one way and shaft

Sorry wrong again the one you stated has been discontinued for some time and there is no mention of any shaft, both I pointed out include the one-way and are still available. I'm not looking to bash on every post you make I just think your steering people in the wrong direction, especially new ones with your bad judgement. Again your negative karma is showing through by bashing on Duratrax like that, so negative. Nobody wants to hear your garbage, trash and junk opinion about every single product. Besides every post I made is my opinion too and you said yourself everybody is entitled to their own opinion. You don't have to sit in front of a computer all day long in order to read over what you post and correct the spelling, but you seem to have plenty enough time to post all the negative opinions you want.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that 90% of your posts are bad info based on your misunderstanding of how this stuff really works.

hwy do you guys have nothing better to do with your time than basjh some one when niether off you probly have never even seen a giga crusher let alone own one sorry but most of the giga parts are completly different than the madforce and completly different than the twinforce

Maybe but they both take the same clutchbell and bearings I do know that, and the one Great Plains told you is the right one, unless you know more than the experts. The 5x8mm bearing is the correct one for both trucks and is not a tad bit to small.

I never have seen a giga in person and I will never own one, but I guarantee I am more knowledgeable of it that you, who owns one, and that's pretty sad. Obviously, it is a different truck therefore most of the parts are different, but many are the same and some are even interchangeable with other brands at cheaper prices. There's no bashing here madfish, we are just trying to get you to either post accurate info or none at all. Simple as that. Remember, punctuation is your friend. :)
