Ya I kinda thought twice about this now. I just noticed the big beafy airtronics servo dropped it price and for like 30$ more that the best way to go.

The new titanium gear servos from Hitec are real nice and they will drop right in. I think price is around $120.

yea i was lookin at those servos the new hitec ones, and they are really nice but u need to get the programmer to make them work right and that is like 200 bucks

so it would be like 350 or so for one servo

No you do not have to have a programmer. I have one in my buggy. 249 oz/in torque. You can program them like any digital but they will still work as a normal servo.

Hey, thats good to know. However on the Towerhobbies.com site, it said that the programmer is required. I guess to use digitally.

The HS-9559 TG requires the programmer but the other servos have a 90 degree rotation and therefore do not "NEED" to be programmed. Also you can set your end points through your radio.

If you have aluminum side guards it can be done. 1100 shots on monstergtforum did it. I believe he just cut a bigger hole. I have the dual servo mod, fairly easy and plent of turning power.
