I bought 1 year ago a KYOSHO STADIUM FORCE = similar to TR15 but bigger wheels.
It's a 1/10 Monster.
.15 engine does not do it.
Another engine was my idea.
As for making noise & smoke i already have:
GIGA CRUSHER TWIN ENGINE
SUPER TEN DIESEL & 4 wheel steering
SUPER TEN 4 STROKE FS 26 SC
Guess what else can i use for engine?
If i say power + thursty, does anybody find the answer?
Here is a picture with the body on it. You cannot see inside  .
Find the answer and i will talk & show:devious: .

Please do not erase this thread, it will be full of pictures and infos very soon.

GOOD SEARCH EVERYBODY.

is it a OS 60 FP ?

I simply fit a O.S WANKEL engine with external gearbox belt driven.
My idea was not to make a professional design, but a working assembly.
The exhaust is rear mounted horizontaly.
I had to reinforced the elements by putting some tensionners.
The position of the air filter looks strange but clean air comes
into it and out of any parts needing access.
The external gearbox was the only solution to have a straight line for
the center driveshafts. As the engine is bigger in Diam, impossible to
connect directly to a central gearbox.
By fitting a belts between the gearbox and the central "box", i can
easily change the ration by putting an other pinion without dismounting
anything.
The tensionner for the belt is simply coming from a "Vone" + adding some
spacers and washers, sometimes cut in 2 for the junction between the 2
boxes... Look strange but so simple.
The biggest problems were:
Carb: Had to turn it 1/4 to have an horizontal sleeve
Linkage for throttle: Had to make a twin system on top of servo
Starter: Home made but very efficient.

Anyway thank all of you for your curiosity.

Looks super technical, what sort of engine is that?

It is a WANKEL engine more known as a rotary engine.
It is well explained at those website:
http://www.qsl.net/xq2fod/aeromod/wankel/wankel.html (http://www.qsl.net/xq2fod/aeromod/wankel/wankel.html)
http://www.keveney.com/Wankel.html (http://www.keveney.com/Wankel.html)
Those engines were used on mainly 2 well known cars:
NSU RO80 + MAZDA RX7.
Some other constructors did try but without total success.

The disadvantages are:
Very thursty + low torque + wearing + leakages

Positive points are:
High power + fewer parts moving + vibration free

Have a nice study.

Crazy idea Bilbou. The only other disadvantage i see is too many rotating parts to get rocks stuck in. But very origional

I always wondered what it would be like if you had Wankel powered R/C. You need a video of this.

it looks like this engine is easier to make then the regular engines everyone uses now. it would be pretty cool to have more wankel powered r/c. thats a good job you did there, making something original and then making it work too. :bling:

hey i was wondering if you have any vids of that rotory in action? I have never heard a nitro ver. run and preform.. have driven 2 rx7's those were fun..

ok so this monster just fades away?

Sorry for this so asked video. I cannot make one.
I wonder who can take one. So pray for it.
Anyway, buggy is going better & better.
I'm making a second STADIUM FORCE, but with an other
special engine !!!:rollin:
Guess what

a chevy 350?

Dang, that thing looks crazy! I love the custom exhaust manifold and how despite being so complicated it could actually work. How'd you manage to fit all that junk on there anyway?!?!

you have to know some one with a cam?

The best way to fit all bits under the body.
Take a big box. Put everything in it.
Drive a car in stony conditions like in Dakar.:rollin:
After 20 miles, everything is clean. ( sorry wrong thread)
It's an African washing machine.

If you really want a special car, it takes time and tests.
Not everything goes well the 1st time.
The problems that appears step by step were:
Cooling -> engine mount -> pilot shaft -> clutch -> gear ratio
-> linkages -> gearbox & all transmission -> exhaust -> .....
My basic ideas started 3 years ago on a Super-ten kyosho.
After many different design ( hand drawing ) i transfer everything on
a this STADIUM FORCE.
I took me 6 months all nights working to create completely the strange thing.
Only a few redesign were needed: An other fan ( metal ) -> extra strengh on
engine mount -> an other clutch -> Different gear ratio on gearbox and clutch bell.
Nothing impossible in fact.:d

By the way, The chevy comes from Tcheckie and the 350 is only .15.
= MVVS diesel.
Nearly finished. Still exhaust manifold + body.
Sad is that fuel is impossible to find. I will go to London end of the year to buy it.
Stops the development ........:devious:

What is this MVVS diesel fuel and why is that so hard to find?

Btw, keep up the good work and keep us posted on your progress!

What is diesel fuel? Nothing to do with car diesel.:d
It is something very special for model engines.
Ether 30% + kerosene 43% + castor oil 24% + isopropylnitrate 3%
The engine has NO glow plug but instead a screw for adjusting the compression
chamber. It acts has "changing compression rate" & "timing adjustment".
Diesel engine runbs cooler than a glow engine, gives more torque and has nearly
the same RPM. So bigger clutch bell is needed.
It runs nearly dubbel time than glow with same tank.
Diesel fuel cost LESS as well.

I have been using the diesel engine in airplanes.
When torque & long time running was needed, it was ideal.
So lets see the future tests & results:rollin:

i know this is almost a year old but ive been throwing this idea in my head for a while, i have a couple questions im new the rc world and would love to make a rotary rc car instead of truck. what i was thinking was to get something like this http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXKJG1&P=0 and using the rotary engine. would i be able to make some type of belt system like yours?

im not new to rotary engines ive been messing with the real ones for about 5 years now. so i know how to rebuild these things already. i would defentialy get rid of the muffler and run a straight pipe. but also what would i do about the carb? run a servo for it?

bilou

The carb i run is standard. No modifications. I only turn it 1/4 to have the lever in front and not under the engine.
I think that making a dragster is very easy. You can run the drive with only 1 clutchbell and a big sprocket. The engine is giving so much power that with a high ratio, it can starts hard and go to high speed without trouble.
Only problem is fuel thursty. When running mine, at each start, i can follow the car only by the fuel left unburned behind. FOLLOW ME..... It says !!!!!
Do not forget the fan. You saw the one i made. Working perfect has the engine never
reach more than 80°c even under big load and outside temp around 30°c. The blade could be twisted less to reduce a bit the lost of power and the exagerate wind displacement.
Let us know if your prototype is being made.
If you make it, i can say that you are a pure modelist.
