Hey guys,
Has anyone put Twin tanks on there MGT? I ve seen some pics of trucks with them on beat your truck and rcpics and I'm interested in trying it myself. If anyone has any advice or knows how to do it I'd really appreciate you posting.
Thanx,
Funk

you can fint the tank on the opposite side if you still run the rear exhaust setup. 3-4 new holes will need to be drilled then bolt the second tank in. then hooking up the two tanks is up to you it seems to work in both Parallel and Series. I could not tell you what way is better. won't take long to change from one way to the other.

How would you go about hooking them up in either parallel or series.

I have seen the dual tank MGT, the tanks are in a series, but make sure they aren't too close to the hot engine, which could cause the fuel to buble.

series hook up would be like this - (as mentioned by stampededude99)
exhaust pressure line from exhaust to tank 1 cap, tank 1 line out - to cap on tank 2, tank 2 line out - to carb on engine.
when you refill, I would refill tank 2 first. if you refill tank 1 first the fuel will be flowing and squirting from the cap when you open tank 2 up to refill.

OK, so ehaust pressurizes tank one and it puts fuel into tank 2 and that goes to the engine. I was a little confused. Thanks.
