Attention all Mini LST Owners:

There have been several cases(more than 20) that the Mini LST has caught on fire from normal use. People just driving around, and then the thing will start smoking, ruining the battery, and sometimes the esc and receiver. The solution is to remove all the stock wire and replace it with some 12 or 14 gauge wires, and to use deans connectors.

DO NOT ALLOW YOUR LITTLE ONES TO PLAY WITH THIS CAR UNSUPERVISED!!!

I repeat, DO NOT let your children play with this vehicle unsupervised, as it may catch fire. Please refrain from driving this vehicle Inside! Drive outside!!

I don't see why you wouldn't change the connectors as the first thing you do! That's the first thing I would do! When you get a new RC, get some Deans too.

Just change the wires and connectors, and it is safe. A plug change will help, but new wire will prevent it for sure

i usually dump the stock electronics in all my rtr's.they all suck!!!!

A good friend on mine caught this before it got worse...it was melting the connectors..and starting to smoke badd...

thats pretty bad man,i feel sorry for the guys that arent into the hobby like most of us.most of us can deal with upgrading,replacing ,taking apart and putting all back together.some of the guys cant really afford to upgrade and know how to work on these rigs and if this is the case,they are out of a great truck due to these issues.if this is the case?please email me and i would like to take the truck off your hands free of charge.......lol.j/k
