i've heard that this truck is very heavy and slow. it doesn't look to nimble in the team ac videos. those tires are masive though over 7 inches in diameter i gues we'll only know once it comes out
Yeah, they use the Duratrax Nitro Quake tires on that thing. I hope they quickly come out with some lower-profile tires that will fit those rims. 'Maxx wheels & tires would be too small on that truck, imho, though I know 'Maxx tires won't fit the MGT rims.
Being an Associated product, there should be very strong aftermarket support for the MGT, and I'm sure it will be easy to put a better engine on it. The chassis is sweet! With racing tires and a strong engine, I'm hoping for great things from these trucks. Out of the box, though, it looks like it's going to be a little sluggish. Hopefully the final production models will prove me wrong in a BIG way!

Hey Jang sounds like your as EXCITED about this truck as I am.
I like it's Design Might be a lil top heavy but the rtr chassis looks bulletproof....the Factory Team Chassis looks Awesome.....

AKA, OFNA Titan just my $.02
Ofna titan aka bank braker
I am with fstrxss, the titan costs a fortune. It may just be me but even if the titan didnt cost so much I would still not like it. I would like to see a trials compition between all the big monsters, like: rock crawling, hill climbing, mud bogging, and pulling.
heheh yea. this is true. if it weren't for the price tag i'd have one already. but, it DOES have all the things that were mentioned before. hahahaha. anyway. as far as real monster events go. that wold be awesome to see. but lets think of how many of these "monster trucks" would hold up to that challenge. hill climbs... my maxx could hardly do it... mostly because it weighed 10 lbs almost, but the dual clutch just buries the low end into the dirt. trucl pull, same sad tune.
most of the popular monsters are based on the Maxx's stance. very few came out that really hold their own.
thankfully, the ones that did, really do shine through. TXT-1.. awesome scale truck. a little slow with the stock cans. but good.
its off topic now. anyway, the Associated truck while it is bigger, doesn't seem to me like it'll hold up on its end to be a true monster. its just a face in the game of the hobby.... allbeit, not a bad one ;)..
long live the bruiser!!! :D -Tim
T-Maxx! T-maxx! T-maxx! 2.5!!! Personally, I think the new T-Maxx is going to own all. The HPI Savage looks pretty weak in the Trilordy videos, and Traxxas has been doing this monster truck thing for longer than both Associated and HPI.
