its a baja, you pronounce the j as an h.
my guess for the largest upgrade motor woul be 26cc, and i dont know how fast it goes. i dont trust anything i say myself...
I'd guess 40-45 for the stock setup, and like I keep saying, if HPI would offer an upgrade tuned pipe the speed would go up from there. I wonder if a Zenoah of the size or slightly larger would be more powerful compared to the HPI 23cc one....

a tuned pipe would probably help the speed by at least 3 or 4 mph...but i dont think i would change the engine very quickly
Stock it tops out a tick under 30mph.

ah...do you know if they make hopups that make it go faster?

Well Traxxas offers THEIR large buggy at the same price, so I'd say it's a great deal because the HPI is probably oodles better.
The Traxxas is much quicker & faster, but the HPI handles much better.

According to R/C Driver, top speed was 29.01 MPH, but could be increased to around 35 with less conservative gearing. Also, removing the exaust extention gives you much better acceleration. These things look and sound awesome!

well it sounds like the baja can be put at the same level as the traxxas buggy with a few minor mods, that wouldnt cost all that much...plus i think the baja looks more realaistic, which in turn equals SWEET

You could definitely make this much better than the Traxxas in that it will have the same speed but will have MUCH better handling.

The thing is though, I don't think I would sell all my cars just for this. It is big and cool but not worth selling all the other stuff you know you have had fun with.
