Hey guys, I have decided to sell the 85 seeing as how I need to do some work to the daily. I bought this truck with the intentions of doing full bags and bd but, never got around to it so it's sitting in my back yard and I need it gone. Here's a little about it.
2.8L Was ran hot with a blown head gasket 1/2 way disassembled and was left sitting in the guy's yard I bought it from. I have the gaskets for the heads(Fel-Pro), but it will need a bit more work since the elements have gotten to the engine(even though the hood was closed)
Supposedly the tranny was rebuild a couple hundred miles back. I'm not sure how it shifts seeing as how I never got around to fixing/driving it but, I was told almost 300 dollars was put into rebuilding it.
Truck/Body/Engine has right at 74K on the odometer and I'm pretty sure it's working.
Body is straight, no rust, no pebble dings, no dents. Very straight body that just needs sanded and paint. (I only have 2 fender moldings but, if you need all 4, I will pull them from my daily seeing as how I want to shave them anyways.)
Interior is good, tan vinyl with no cracks in the seats that I can see. Has the rubber Work Truck or W/T flooring with no tears or rips. Dash is okay, has some heat cracks in it. Does need two front seats(the fronts came from a Sunfire and are grey cloth, the recliners are broken so it needs new seats/tracks up front)
The truck would be a really great Engine Swap donor if you have a 350 or 4.3L or even a 2.8L that could go in it and would be driveable the next day. The truck has never been wrecked and (as I mentioned earlier) perfect body panels. Would also be great for bagging or BDing like I wanted to do. I need this truck gone. The first 500 CASH will take it. You will need to trailer it and bring your own tires/rims to load it up. I am on the upper side of SC (near Monroe/Charlotte,NC).
