ok here it goes. i have a question. what is the best rock crawling truck out there that doesn't need a lot of hop-ups to make it perform good. i don't care about speed i just want to be able to do extreme off-roading. and all for only $400. please give me every possible piece of info so i can make a good wise decision. thank for all the info in advance. i really want one.

RTR or just the kit? Just the kit, the TXT-1(Tamiya) would be a great choice, and if you want it all RTR, the Tamiya Pajero is very good at crawling, and very realistic.

The txt-1 is probably one of the best but if you dont want to spend that much money then look into the original clodbuster. There are plenty of hop up parts for it if you want to modify it later too.I dont have one but people who had or have one like them a lot.:D :D they also make a bullhead which is basically a clod with a big rig body on it.;)

I would say go with the TXT. I have one that I have set up specifically for crawling. But if you have the skills, you could get a stock clod and make your own chassis and for articulation angle, you can't beat a clod for potential.

for ultimate realism, bruiser of pajero :)
