Am I The Only One Is This Desolate Area?
Where you at? I am located in Saugerties, NY and there is nothing around. the nearest track is in hyde park about 40 minutes away, it's not bad but with all this land up here and parking lots you would think something fun would happen. I moved up here a few years back and in that time i haven't run into anyone that plays around with R/C! I would love to get something going in this area and attract some newbies to the hobby but don't know where to start.

Mechanicville,NY about 15miles north of Albany,ny, Anyone know of any places around where I live? Trying to find other Nitro Off roaders but theres no one, :( Since we all cant find anything, Ya think we should all get together ?? I'm new to this hobby so I would really like to find someone that could help me out and teach me more about it,

I also found a nice bashing spot. has dirt piles, big piles of chips, water, a lil mud, huge rocks for crawlers(used for lining rivers,creeks, against the banks) and alot of open area. My buggy bottemed out over the rocks and such, but my bro. he jumped his mgt, flipped, drove thru water, jumped and landed in water(didn't see the hole on the other side of the pile), drove fast, up hills, down hills, jumping the big pile of chips, jumped over water, thru water, and in water.He had lots of fun.
Now it makes me want to get the parts for my mgt(2 speed shaft and hub), put the moab's back on, and go do some jumping, etc.
I will see about getting some pic's in a few days.

Wow, forgot about this thread... I am in Cobleskill, about 30miles west of Albany.
yea i also forgot about this thread... Finally got some new battery packs so i was able to bash around with my R/Cs the other day.. AND... while driving around i saw my FIRST sighting of someone bashing with a R/C!! Nitro not sure what model it was, if i had more time i would of stopped... oh well if anyone is in the area let me know..

The old Midas building in Kingston, NY next to the staples would be a great indoor track & hobby shop!
to be perfectly honest at this point i would take the front parking lot next to Ulster Savings in the Twin Maples Plaze in Saugerties.. There is just nothing around here without a 40 minute min, drive. I have wholesale accounts and can get just about anything R/C related, (right now i import mp4s/mp3s).. I work for Anaconda Sports, and can get use of their parking lot with little problems as long as it's kept clean.

who you saw didn't happen to be two guys bashin with a truck that had a black wing on it(T maxx) was it?
they were in the parking lot next to Ulster Savings in twin maples plaza in saugerties.. it was a truggy looked kinda small..
