I was just wondering if anyone here has made a successful Gasser conversion with a MGT! I don't mind nitro but after getting a Traxxas Monster Buggy I really like 2-stroke gasoline better. I know a lot of people have made T-maxx and s-maxx gasser conversions but I haven't found anything about the MGT. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them. This is what I had about the T-maxx, s-maxx.

Thanks,

That is a awesome gasoline powered s-maxx. I don't know about the monster gt turn into a gasoline, but I think you can turn it into gasoline powered. I seen people turn the ofna titan into a gasoline truck. Well on ultimaterc, there is a member that got a gasoline powered ofna titan.
I'm also quite interested in converting a MGT to gas power.
I've done a little research but didn't come up with much, here goes:
Something of this size might fit:

The trouble with that type of conversion is that you need a power source for the ignition, usually in the form of batteries.
Most people try to shoehorn chainsaw and weedwacker engines into a 1/8 scale... seems a little overcomplicated for a cramped chassis.
I think with a little drilling there would be room for something like this:

I'm guessing the gearing would have to be a lot taller to compensate for the low peak HP RPM of these larger engines.
I wonder how quickly engines this large would eat through the steel gears.
