Does anyone have one of these things yet. Im looking into buying one of them and would like to learn a few things. Any help at all would be great.

Are they any good?

Bought one for my son. It is fun. The only down fall is that it breaks easily. So have extra parts handy for the front end!!!

Thanks. Do you know if it can drive through grass? And what specific part breaks easy?

How long are the runtimes?'

It will charge in about 20- 25 mns.... As far as runtime I will have to check..... cause he will run it then wait for awhile and go back.... So I will check it out and let you know.

Thanks a lot. I was looking round and there seems to be quite a bit of hop up support already for this thing, what would you reccomend upgrading? I definitly getting a new battery, possibly lipo, and the a new motor.

How fast does it go?

Chevypede is my hubby I will ask and have him answer you on the hop ups.... I know one site he printed info from was on www.hot-racing.com
Not sure on speed This is the first micro car we've had so to us it seem fast. That's what makes it fun...

The more Aluminum (sp) the better! These little guys break easy!

Runtimes seem to be about 10-12 minutes with an NIMH pack and 15-20 with a LiPo pack. It's a great little car for running on the carpet when the weather outside sucks.

I've had mine since January, and honestly, the only weak point, IMO, is the rear a-arm mount. I cracked 2 of them before just popping the hot-racing aluminum one in there. (http://www.killerhobbies.com/items/team-losi/team-losi-micro-t/hot-racing-micro-t-hop-ups/hot-racing-rear-silver-arm-mount-1-micro-t-hotmct1008-detail.htm)

Also, I'd recommend getting threaded wheel shafts, because the e-clips are a pain to pop on and off. A bearing set for the wheels is a must, too. That alone added noticeable speed and runtime (2-3 minutes more).

I would not recommend putting aluminum all over the front end. Losi has toughened up the front suspension since it was first released and I actually have yet to break anything in the front. It's been off 6-18" ramps all the time and since putting in the aluminum rear mount, I've taken it off of a half-flight of stairs (8 stairs) many times without breaking a thing.

Killerhobbies.com has a ton of replacement and hop-up parts. thetoyz.com seems to also be a good source, but i haven't ordered from them yet.

rc basher - I can get pics if you really want me to, but other than the nuts on the end of the threaded wheel shafts, it pretty much looks stock.

be aware of HR, alot of their parts dont fit correctly, ull have to do work to them to get them to fit if they will even fit.. their like 2 hairs off on hole placements ;)
