I am thinking of doing the dual steering mod is it really worth it? Is it easy to do? Or am I best waiting and buying one good servo and put all my eggs in one basket!
Advice would be great

the dual steering mod makes a great improvement in the steering more power and its faster its really better for racing on tight tracks than anything. For bashing you would be ok with 1 servo. Check this link they are good servos and cheap so it would make the dual steering easyer on the pocket book

His site got everything!
Dual steering will be great, but I think the truck will flip over easily on turns, because you are adding more power for the steering. You don't really needs dual steering, because the truck is not that heavy and the stock steering set up for the mgt is pretty good for the truck this size.
If you're racing and want to reduce some of the on-power "push", then dual servos will help.
If you're just bashing, then one servo is perfectly fine............

Thanks for all the advise think I am going to do the steering tune ups first before rushing to fit the second servo for steering.
I assue using a steering servo as a throttle/brake servo is fine I am sure I have read someone has done it before.
Two weeks of setup and testing while I can run my truck at work, with no kids in the way!!
