Just saying 5000mah means nothing... The number of cells in series is the most important thing. I would say 8s is the bare minimum for using 5000mah, but 10,000mah would be better.

I agree completely, and I'm a hardcore nitro-to-electric guy. The gas Baja 5B was made that way for a reason - there's no reason to go spend another grand to do what guys like myself do with nitro vehicles.
