For sale is a custom tamiya TLT-1 Rock crawler. looking to sell for $200 without electronics. It will cast more if you want them
The truck has been stretched to 1/10 scale with associated’s MGT blue titanium turnbuckles, Lunsford titanium ball studs and RPM ball cups. This is a much better system epically for heavy duty crawling because if the truck is over stretched, the cup will pop of the studs and prevent breakage. The truck has also been widened by longer 12mm hex hubs, and longer axels. Attached to
the axles are tamiaya wild dagger wheels with pro line masher 2000 tires. Other features include HPI shocks for more articulation. Power comes from a rs 540 motor. The central ball diff has been replaced with a gear pulley diff, locked with knead-able eraser for a little “give”. The rear diff as also been locked and front one was left unlocked. This is a great truck for the serious crawler and has been geared to crawl. It has had little use and is in excellent shape. All original parts are included.
The only thing this truck will need is a front dog-bone. When I was crawling with it a ball cup popped off the axel and it dumped the dog-bone and I couldn’t find it. Next time i might spray paint them. (Part number FF045 from CEN Fun Factor) http://www.customrccars.com/product_...at=22&custom=0 (http://www.customrccars.com/product_...at=22&custom=0) The only other thing it might need is a ball bearing set, and a more scale body.
