O.S. engine selection help for MBX4-XR...

I have ordered a new Mugen, should be here within the week and I'm trying to make an engine selection. I'm thinking of an O.S. RG to start with since this is my first "real" r/c car.

My question is this, I see this engine is available in both the (P) pilot shaft and "regular" versions, which one will I need for the Mugen.

You will need the Pilot (P) shaft version for your Mugen.
That is a very nice buggy you got there. If you are interested in ever racing it I would consider the OS RZ v01 motor, it is a bumpstart motor but it is perfect for 1/8 scale racing. If you are just bashing, the RG will be very adequate.
