so my charger did not charge my micro t, I put new batteries in the charger thinking it would help... but once I connected the charger and the micro t together, nothing happens, not even the little red light turns on that indicates it's charging... :( I checked all the wiring and everything is intacted... any ideas of what can be causing this?? any info is greatly appreciated :)
That's the samething happens to me sometimes. Are you using new rechargeable batteries?
Hey mad, no I'm not... I'm just using regular energizer or duracell batteries... it was working fine and I didn't use if for 2 days and when I want to use it, damn thing didn't want to start... :( so is your micro t working now? any ideas? thanks
Same here with me, using regular batteries now. My micro-t is working now, what I think about the charger is that it drains the batteries too fast, so you got to change batteries in the charger every so often. I tried to use rechargeable batteries, but the charger won't work, if I use them.
that's interesting... I did put in fresh new regular batteries, but it still didn't work... I am now looking into putting in a lipo battery into the micro... maybe that'll work.. :)
i just saw in a rc mag that they found a way to put a 12v ac adtor in the case so u can plug the charger in
really? cool.. do you know which mag is it? I want to check it out...
thanks :)

if ur wanting to do the 12v mod, ill get you pics and tell you how, i know the guy that started that, than it got around, it was done like 2 months ago.. u have to get a certain adapter, its like 14 from wally world, but will save you 100's in money that ud spend on batts over and over.
Hey Tyhodge.. yeah go for it.. any help I can get would be great... besides it's all about saving some $$$ haha :)
ok guys, I got my micro t to charge... but now, when I drive it, it stops 5 feet away from me and I soon I get closer it starts to run again... I think I'm not getting a strong signal and my reciever might be croaking! ONLY 5 FEET!! :( any ideas what could be causing this??
thanks

I seem to have the same problem. I have not diagnosed it much past replacing the antenna using the Cat5 mod. I intend to try a different AM Transmitter. If that does not work, I am afraid that it totally kills the Micro-T fan in me, and I will probably sell it.
Try a different Transmitter and see if that works.
Hey Mif... sounds like a good idea... I'm still having trouble driving my micro t but I will try using a different Tx...
thanks
Just something to note. I did not think about it, but my car was cutting out in the same location in my kitchen (as I was using it as s drag strip) and I finally decided to take it outside. Once It was outside, I had no problems running the car quite a long distance. Maybe you are getting interference?
yeah, I was doing the same thing but in my living room haha I haven't had the chance to try it out... but it's a good point... hopefully today I'll take it outside for a spin and hopefully it works, if not, then I'll try using a different Tx with different crystals... thanks Mif...

No problem man. Let me know how it works! I am definitely interested in making my micro run better. I thought about dropping in spektrum, but that would require a lot of work on a car I dont want to run competitively!
Mif - I tried a different Tx with crystals... and drove it outside.. but it still does the same thing.... drives but I can't get it to pass 10 feet away from me :(
looks like I may have to get a new rx for it.... but that will probably have to wait since I'm more focusing on my other trucks :)
and it's like you said, why work alot on a car that you're not running competitively... haha :)

did you try your antenna, the thread wires inside the antenna are real thing and if you crease it it will break and cause poor signal.. id unsolder the stock one and add a new one the same length and see how it works.
Hey tyhodge, that's an idea I haven't tried either....but I think I will..
thanks! :)
