I plan on buying a mirco t in the very near future. I am going to be soley driving this in my dorm room. Are there any parts that are common to break that I should buy now. I assume that the axles run on bushings, so I am going to get bearing to replace them. Can I charge the battery at 1 amp with a peak charger so I don't have to use the charger included?
Is there anything else I need to know about this now.
TIA

I would recommend these parts at least...
Bearings
Atomic BB motor (mt stock motor quit the 3rd time I used it)
Extra screws/e-clip set (very easy to lose)
Extra batteries or Lipo
3racing titanium turnbuckle set (instead of breaking when you crash, they just pop off)
Threaded shafts if you don't like the e-clips but stay away from the hot racing ones, I found them to not be very well and you can barely tighten the nut on.
Also I would recommend some aluminum parts, like the front and rear bearing carriers as well as the front c-hub.
I've been using my peak charger for a couple of months now, but I set it at 0.5 amps, I wouldn't do it at 1 amp because I don't really think it would be too good for the little battery pack.
Hope that helps.

are some nice upgrades u can also get alot of aluminum
I agree, do not charge at 1A. Use .5. I was amazed how better the battery seemed to run using my Team Checkpoint peak charger.

Don't be swayed by the nice look of aluminum. Bearings, Lipo, and Atomic BB are the first to get over aluminum if you want performance.

The stock motor on the micro t screams...... LiPo is coming for me, I heard its rediculous with it...... a BL setup might be coming too..... Yea dont buy aluminum i havent broken one part on this yet except for the steering links, and i made new ones out of the metal looking part on a floppy disc....... The Losi bearings are CRAZY nice a definete upgrade... The little battery is holding up wonderful too, definetly worth the money to get one!

You wouldn't happen to be going to GVSU are you? If so, you should start running that thing at Battlefront.

Sure am. I am going to start looking into battlefront. It won't be until december that I will have free time. I don't have any classes all winter so I will hopefully have a lot of free time after work.
