so, as stated above, this is a totally crazy noob question, but i am going to ask anyway... lol.

so, my buddy has a 1/18th propulse truggy, that he has modded as it broke, so it is now running some AE parts, and a fireball motor... or something of that ilk. now, my question is, would it be possible to slightly mod a micro t to keep up with/beat his 1/18er? it would be sooo funny to put a 1/36 truck down next to his much vaunted PP and just kick @$$...

has anyone done this? the propulse alleged stock speed it 20 mph (yeah, right) and i know the micro t hits about 12... so obviously something needs to be changed, i was thinking an atomic bb motor and liths maybe?

anyhow, is it possible? has anyone done it? and more importantly, would it be worth it? lol.

thanks you guys!

there is a brushless syste, coming out (check a few threads down) and with that a lipo battery and bearing it could give him a run for his money any way.

theoretically yes its possible. wether or not its cost effective is another story. :) it may also not be available yet.

i think the brushless and lipo would be pretty quick, maybe to quick for that, id just go with bearings, and a lipo.. the bb motor doesnt mean ball bearing, it means brass bearing, so pretty much you wont notice a difference from that and stock.
