Hi, from Istanbul

I want to share with you, 1974 model Fiat 124...

Chassis; I used 10mm*20mm size rectangular profile.I cuted the to enough size and welt it. After I made back differential gear, and made ready the gear mechanism. I set the cylinder's position which cylinder I made from aluminum... After, front swing's model selected from wood materials and it casted from aluminum with sand inventory technic.... There is sheet iron for fix to the swings. It has 3mm. thickness... this sheet iron designed on the paper.. paper cuted by the CNC.

Shock absorber: I designed the dampers and it finished. After I process it on the lathe. When I was making axle and axle's heads I used aluminum and steel...

Engine; it is a scythe engine... I made revision up to the engine. I put the engine in the front it for to like real... I made simple secromec system with 2 gear lever, gearbox ... I made shaft transfer from gearbox to the dif. and it is same with real car...

now lets talk body...

I selected 70s' model, cozy, it is ideal for the turkish public and it is made for middle class people... The reason that I choose this cap, it is more extreme and this model had never made before....

sorry for my english.. http://www.scale4x4rc.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif

Fantastic, amazing, unbelievable!!! Love the dash & driver in the Youtube vids...
And I don't think the old Fiats were that bad, they just didn't do well in the States. Good little Rally cars!

That is simply AMAZING! I envy people who have the time and patience to do work that's this intricate! I love this thing because the body is more realistic than a plaster one (to me at least) and that the engine is in front. It's also got an interior which makes is WAY more realistic!
I've always wanted to do something like this, but I don't have the skill, or, well, anything to do this! :D

GREAT JOB MAN!!!

Yes, i am 100% with cornelje on this. How did you do that?

Also, What did you use for the gears/transmission?

I was thinking of trying this in the near futur, seeing as my friend has a few goped/pocketbike engines laying around, and I have alot of metal and stuff in my garage.

Greatjob man!

Hi all,

First of all, thanks for interest to my work and good things.

İnside of transmission, I was used industry gear box gears.

Also, I haven’t got any difficulty on this point.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you
