One of the last bashes on 12 nimh. This coming Friday I order a 6s lipo capable ESC and make the jump to 5s lipo.

ok guys, I'm an IDIOT!

I was going over the truck last night, tightening everything up after the jump session and it dawned on me that I have been using a parallel adapter for my nimh this whole time.

This video was not on 14.4v @ 4200mah.... it was on 7.2v @ 8400 mah....

I'm almost scared to order a an esc to handle my 5s lipo now. almost....

Wow... I'm not saying wow as in "Wow your stupid", just...wow. I knew that didn't seem fast enough for 14.4v. Watching the videos, it only looked a little faster than my E-Maxx on 16.8v.
And yes, that 5s is going to be insane. :)

wow I'm stupid works too. i know better and for the last month it never even dawned on me I was just so happy to have it running. I'm "fixing" it tonight.

fixed the wiring :D no jumps just a quick run in the parking lot, but WOW! i'll be getting a quark 125b or mgm 16018 whichever I can get delivered the fastest.
