Hey im wanting a Slash but dont want to spend 200 bucks, and I'd rather only have 1 truck. So what can I do to convert my Rustler to a Slash?

Buy the body, chassis, wheels and shocks from the Slash, and the rear arms from a Nitro Rustler. Bumpers and side nerf bars waterproof steering servo, and the waterproof XL-5 (if you really want a "clone" Slash), and that should be about it. The Slash looks like it uses the same steering system, just more spaced out. That should be all, but if it isn't, it's most of what you'll need.

It would be cheaper to sell your rusty than to try to convert it. My friend was going to do the same thing till he figured out that it would be around 200 dollars to convert it which is more than ultimate hobbies is selling the rtr Slash.
which is more than ultimate hobbies is selling the rtr Slash.
they dont have any :(

all you really need to copy the "look" is buy the tires and body and just slapum on, youll probobly just have to drill new holes for the body posts but you may not if they share mounting points

the slash has the rear mounting points of the pede and front of the rustler

I plan on doing a partial conversion of my Pede to a Slash chassis. However, I'm going to wait a little bit for someone to start parting them out on eBay. Parts will be much cheaper there after a while.
