Looks like it would make for a great brushless conversion..

Kyosho has a winner on their hands. Sounds good for a .18 motor and seems to have a lot of grunt.

No, the stock engine is not crap. I just love OS engine, they seem to last longer and stay cooler than most of the stock RTR engines.

After the conversion it will be less than $580USD. ;) The 18CV-RX will cost you less than 120USD. :)

You might not, as Kyosho could either supply the mounts you describe may be needed, OR the body fits just fine.

There's a pre-drilled hole for any 1/10 scale small block mount. Any 1/10 kyosho engine mount will be able to fit it. :)

I have the Kyosho MFR really enjoying it :) was also interested in putting a more powerfull engine then the standard .18 grx that it comes with. the grx does the job but the top speed is only getting 49km - 30 miles not very fast. so was wondering what options would fit and work well with increased power & top speed. Went to 1 hobby shop today they said I couldnt put a .21 engine in as it would rip & brake the truck apart, is that true would it have to be another .18 size engine. If a .21 would work how much of a increase in performace would there be. 1 last thing i have ordered some other spur gears with a higher ratio. the standard is 12 teet & 17 teeth they going to try get 14 teeth & 20 or 21 teeth would that work |& if so how much increase in top speed. thank you in advance.
