Hello

i want buy a slash, but i have a few questions

I just dont have the money to buy the slash and a BL system at once. But if i would buy the slash, im going to buy the brushless system approximately 2 months later. I got 6cell 3600 batteries, is this enough speed to have fun? For jumps and fun races?

the 2 nerf bars.... are they robust enough? after the jumps they dont crack away?

and whats about the dimension? isnt it too big? i mean in comparison with the others 1/10..?
have the slash the same dimensions like an normal 1/8 ?

thanks

the batts... depends on what brand/type batts you get... get a good brand it should eb anough for a while.... the nerf bars hold up fine... ive raced mine and had some nasty crashes and theyre still there.... as for dimensions the traxxas site will give you those..... its more like a 1/9th scale

Even though I don't have you can tell by pictures where they're compared to other 1/10 vehicles it's a HuGe 1/10 or a quite small 1/8 scale.

but actually its not a huge 1/10 scale its just a true 1/10 scale. or atleast closer to a real scaled down vehicle.

This is true, we have had our fair share of hits. They take it and keep on movin.

I bet they're pretty durable but let's not get crazy and say they're as durable as a Rusty or Pede:p.

with the way the bumpers are set up i would go as far as to say they are more durable than a rustler and much more than a stampede.

i watched ikpthegame crash into my house repeatedly at 15-20mph as he overshot a turn in my figure 8 course, and then there was the tree that we both hit alot.

yay go me, right into the house. if you ask me the only weak link is the stock servo saver.

Same here about max amps except for about 3-4 weeks ago when my 6 cell 4400 mah Max Amps "exploded" well the 4 inner cells ends came off and made a hissing noise for 10 min. and leaked acid out to.

ive just got some 3000mah venom pacs i picked up for 20 bucks. and they work great. after the first couple of charges there really starting to pic up a little spunk. i couldnt pass up 2 packs for 20 even though they were venom and all the bad things ive heard but i think there ok. you should be fine for awhile...

I have nothing against the Slash but for some reason it`s seem too me that the Slash isn`t the kind of truck you would use for stunts, jumping over houses or any kind of extremely insane bashing.

yeah the slash is fun to jump all except the fact that the rear suspension is lacking a bit if stiffness. But when it come to the slash jumping, it friggin soars. the thing FLOATS. And you dont have to worry about breaking anything...it is tough as nails
