Found a good deal on a E-Revo (3.3 conversion) it has Gorillamaxx Carbon Fiber Racing Chassis, new Feigao 9XL, MMM, aluminum pushrods and toelinks, metal idler gear, front and rear swaybars, rear wing, and 30 min of run time. Does this sound like a good deal or should I wait and get the E-Revo? Is there really that much of a difference between the conversion and the new E-Revo? I mean I know about the lower battery boxes for lower CG and water sealed electronics ect. but I don't really plan on running it through water even if I got the water sealed so not much advantage there. Since this is the older version of the MMM should I wait till they get the bugs worked out or if I have problems just send it in?

I got the new e revo completley mud soaked it and washed it and love it and cleaned it today! Handles great once u mess with the suspension.

i guess it al really depends on what u want, personally i would rather have a converted revo as every converted revo is different from the next vs the E-Revo, and i think the tranny setup on the E-Revo is kinda screwy with the way to motors mount.

And i guess u have to look at it this way, and up all the stuff on the converted and compare the price to taking an E-Revo and putting the same setup on it.

@ allanmathews I wouldn't really need the water sealed stuff because we don't get mud or standing water after it rains here anyhow

@satan6907 it does come out a lot cheaper but what I mainly am getting at is if the added extra features on the new E-Revo are a lot better than the conversions or is there little difference?

Here's some pics
Oh it is pictured with a specktrum rx but he said he is throwing in a regular TRAXXAS tx/rx combo instead

Two other questions. I'm not particularly familiar with the Feigao motors will that 9XL be enough or won't I have to do anything? And what parts will I be able to fit on this from an E-Revo?

the 9xl will be enough power as its designed for use in larger rcs like the 1/8th buggies and the mt's. and i believe most if not all the suspension parts would be interchangeable.

OK But would bodies be interchangeable and like A-arms ,bulk heads etc?

u can make almost any body fit any rc but the 3.3 bodies should fit the e-revo and vise versa.
