Let the bashing (and my exasperatingly repetitive references to the explanations I wrote on the project page, that most folks won't bother to read) begin...

WOW....
The body looks bleeping gorgeous.

What was the other body that fit?
Were you trying to completely overshoot the jump by that much?

The other one that fit is the stock Mugen MBX5 body. I'll be using that in the next project this chassis will be used for.

Trying to overshoot the jump? Nope. The high-powered brushless racing mod 2WD & 4WD buggies usually carry speed around that last turn before the front straight and gun it if they want to land all the way at the end of the landing zone. My first time trying \Backslash out there, I started just like you see in the third slo-mo jump, 1/3rd of the way down the track with no rolling start, rolled on it to confirm that I had a good line, then mashed it about 10 feet from the base of the jump. Up & over, off the track she went. I had no idea it could possibly be so quick and such a long jumper with such a "mild" setup (all programming options on the ESC are at minimum to low)! I don't mind, though!

The body is what I find most impressive (besides that first action sequence in the video). How did you manage that chevron style paint scheme?

Humble thanks guys.

Savage: I first mocked it up in Forza (attached) because I wanted to do something really different this time and needed to carry through the white from the wheels and wing. The details are hand-painted freestyle with a brush, no mask other than the windows and the nose. First went down the black, including a little dry-brushing, then messy details in chezoom teal. All that was backed with rally green in a larger pattern, the metaphorical equivalent of the outer ridges of tire tracks, sculpted out of green mud (had to get the green in there right?). The small splatters were also rally green. After that all dried, I followed up with very carefully sprayed (rattle can) Tamiya Smoke to get the shadow behind it. Boy was I nervous doing that part... only had one shot to get it right or completely ruin the paint job :( After that came the white, then I cut the outer edges of the window masks out and demasked the nose and put down just one layer of the remarkably translucent fluorescent yellow to keep it bright. Backed that with 2 coats of white. Removed the remainder of the window masks and used one medium-heavy coat of Tamiya frost green for the tint.

Edit: Oops, forgot the attachment...

hey jang is the extreme shock angle keeping the caps from blowing off or what. It seems like a very nice build a 2wd 1/8th scale buggy.

Oh man, that thing looks like more fun than a barrel full-o-monkeys! Not gonna lie, I think that's your best video, very well timed with the music. What music was that, BTW?

Very nice job on the buggy, with an absolutely slammin' soundtrack, Jam-Master JANG! Using the motor whine in the mix was a masterstroke! Great paint, too...

What do you think of adding a bit of weight to the nose to keep it down on heavy throttle application? I know you can add more power via programming if you needed to compensate for it. I would say try a front wing for downforce instead, but it'd be too delicate and give more sail area if you did get into a wheelie in spite of everything!

You turned a CORR truck into a buggy? But looks great.

I don't like the paint that much but those fat tires on a buggy look great.

Sick !!! It appears well dialed-in with plenty of hook-up.....:d

No doubt it can take a beating just like the Slash. Loved the YT video. Very well done. :)

Nah, still waiting on a few more new classes ;)

But speaking of corr, thats the whole reason the stadium class came around. i guess traxxas just doesn't want to compete with it.

Or return it to it's roots;)
