That is one seriously awesome bike bro! I love Suzuki's street bikes.

I raced KX's but always loved the GSXR's. Not familiar anymore with the names - what is this? Is this what the GSXR is now? It looks to be like more of a street touring bike than that of the just flat out speed bike of the GSXR.... am I close?

Yeah,, It is the SV1000S The new version of the old TL Bikes. It is a sport bike but does have "accomodations" for a passenger. The GSXRs' are the super street versions,, cant afford those,, haha. This bike is along the lines of the Bandit, but with the V-Twin, instead of the old inline 4.

Nice ride Dude. Look into the side covers for the rad. My buddy has one and he got the side covers to funnel more air in to the rad keeps it like 10 degrees cooler just some FYI. I used to have a ZZR1100 i loved that thing was fast as hell.

Everyone who cares about you will be against it,, naturally. Just means they care about you man,,,
They are dangerous,, all bikes. I paid $5500 for this bike. Always dealer serviced, never ridden in rain, not a scratch on it.

Yeah, my EX and my parents hate the idea, lol.

But hell, I'd save $3 grand a year in insurance, and another $2900 in gas...

Very nice indeed!

I rode bikes exclusively (no car) for about 7yrs until 2yrs ago. My last was a 2001 SV650S with a full Yoshimura exhaust. I'll never forget the sound, and someday I'll bring a bike back into my life. Keep the rubber side down!

My old Yahaha vision was my only vehicle for about 4 years and then I too was away from my cycle for about 15 years.
I buzzed around on it today and ,, oh yeah,, nice!
I really like the look of all the SV model series, all years. I especially like that my shocks are adjustable in preload and dampening.
I'm having some knumbing issues with my right hand after about 30min, but I'm sure in time it will go away.

Those knumbing issues are probably from a little bit of arm pump..
Nice bike BTW!!

Booyah! Looks good man, but be careful. I had a V-65 Honda Sabre, which was smooth and fast until I wrecked it and broke my pelvis. I was super-lucky, as I could have broken my neck or back, thus ending up paralyzed or dead. Dead would be preferable to paralyzed IMHO.

I'd love to get another but I'd be betting against the odds, lol.

Stay safe Duder.................

NICE! I like those mirrors. Nice color combo! I wished the 1000s came in more colors that black or teal. The 650 has nice color choices.
The mirrors on mine are dangerous. Can't see around my own elbows without tucking them in. I've found some mirror extenders a guy makes,, but they are made like a combination offset/extend.
They don't match the angle that the mirror is on, only the angle of the ferring.
so like a 1" thick one gives you about 1/2 inch off extension based on the angle....
I might make my own.

Nice bikes guys. When i first saw your bike in the pic.(The Dudes) First thing that came to my mind was a TL 1000. Whats the differance between them. ? Did the old TL have a inline 4 ?? The V twin must have torque like a Ducati v twin.!! Sweet bikes. Hell i would even settle for DHMotto's 650.. Bet its quick, and like the yellow.
